A native from the vibrant country of Liberia, located in West Africa, Maureen’s journey in the world of culinary arts began at a young age. Growing up in Liberia, it was a cherished tradition for girls to learn the art of cooking, and Maureen eagerly embraced this cultural heritage.
From an early age, Maureen demonstrated an innate passion for the culinary world. She spent countless hours alongside her mother, absorbing her wisdom and expertise in the kitchen. Guided by her loving hands, she learned the traditional techniques, unique flavors, and time-honored recipes that formed the foundation of African cuisine.
With each passing year, Maureen’s culinary skills flourished, and her natural talent became evident to all those around her. Encouraged by her family and friends, she began experimenting with her own recipes, infusing them with her personal touch while staying true to the rich culinary traditions of her homeland.
After completing her formal education with a degree in Culinary Arts, Maureen’s insatiable curiosity and desire to share her culinary heritage led her to embark on a journey working within the commercial food industry. She learned from renowned chefs and absorbed diverse culinary techniques along the way.
In 2022, driven by her dreams and armed with a wealth of knowledge, Maureen established her own catering business. With unwavering dedication and a commitment to excellence, Maureen’s Kitchen, LLC was born.
